The Wine Cellar, a weekly wine column, is published regularly in a number of publications in Canada. With 2.5 million circulation per month, it has been one of the most popular wine columns across the country for the last twenty years. In 2000, Alex was awarded the Readers Choice Gold Award for best columnist. Besides writing about wine, Alex is also an international wine judge, author, photographer, lecturer at wine seminars and at his own wine courses as well as a consultant to consumer shows and to the wine and food industry. He conducts wine tastings to the public, trade, corporations and at a number of consumer shows.
